A VICTORIAN R ENGINEERS OFFICERS SWORD.
An 1857 pattern Royal Engineers officers sword, with brass pierced guard, which has gilding. With the Royal Engineers badge and device on the 32.1/4" blade with VR entwined. Price & Co, Suffolk St, Pall Mall, London. A very clean blade with a brass scabbard, the latter with little evidence of dents.
