Four folders. The earlier motor-cars are represented by a good collection of both period and later postcards, many depicting racing cars and both domestic and promotional images. Other early cars feature in half-plate and several full-plate photographs, some images are good quality copy photographs by, for example, F. S. Edge, Charles Jarrott, De Knyff and others, some printed from Argent Archer glass plates. Also, interesting domestic scenes, some cabinet card types, some photographs laid to card. The 1908-1910 period folder covers more sophisticated images, again with a good collection of postcards and well-defined half-plate style photographs, show stands, promotional full-plates, chassis, engines, street scenes, coach-builders', (Barker, Munnion), racing at Brooklands, and other significant racing cars. The 1911-1914 folder offers a similar selection of postcards and photographs, to include views of engines and gearboxes. The vintage period folder includes coach-built cars from Cunard and others.
