Five folders, the first dated 1892 - 1900, comprising early images in postcard format, some snaps and end prints, some copies, some good, well-defined photographs of town-to-town competition cars, some others printed from Argent Archer full-plates. A second folder holds images of Gill-Tube radiator cars of the 1900 - 1904 period, about 50 postcards of assorted scenes, good half-plate and full-plate images, some copies. Another folder dated 1918 - 1939 holds an excellent assortment of postcards and half-plate coach-builders' issues covering, for example, Labourdette, Faurax, Galle, Challands & Ross, Binder, Currus, etcetera; also, racing views with Farmann featured in the Paris-Madrid, and others, similar. The contents of a further two folders comprise superb full-plate photographs laid to card and featuring coach-builders, most with manuscript or typed captions verso. (5)
