A rare book which was published by the ACO in 1949 as a limited edition, this copy number 859. The book covers the early history of the Le Mans 24 Hour race and is illustrated throughout by the wonderful paintings of Geo Ham. The text is in French. A label on the first flyleaf confirming the gift of the book by Bunny Tubbs.
