a painting of canvas titled Water Dreaming, with a depiction of the main water holes of the area in the form of concentric circles, fed by underground streams. Signed to the reverse, and with a photograph of the artist holding the painting and information about it. 128cms by 71cms.
*Maureen Nampijinpa Hudson Hudson was born in 1959 in the bush at Mt Allen in the Northern Territory, as part of the Anmatyerre/Warlpiri Tribe. She began painting in 1981 and the demand for her work increased steadily over the years. She has held many solo exhibitions in Australia and her work has also been exhibited in the USA.
