an interesting brass microscope by R & J Beck, the folding microscope with an adjustable base to set at differing angles, marked R & J Beck, 9252, London and Philadelphia, and in a fitted mahogany case and various lenses. Also with a box containing 36 various slides (insects, chemicals etc) some with professional labels including HMS Challenger, 1875. (2)
