A MADRAS HORSE ARTILLERY PRESENTATION SWORD. A Prosser of London marked Madras Horse Artillery Officers 1821 pattern sword, with the owners initials on the blade. Steel three bar hilt with fishskin grip and wire present. The pipe-back blade of 31.1/4" with the East India Company crest and three cannons on a shield below. Madras Horse Artillery below with Prosser Maker London and the initials ATC in floral script. Complete with its steel scabbard, the fighting blade in very clean condition.
