A VICTORIAN R ENGINEERS OFFICERS SWORD. An 1857 pattern Royal Engineers officers sword, with brass with a pierced guard which has gilding. With the Royal Engineers badge and device on the 32.1/4" blade with VR entwined, Price & Co, Suffolk St, Pall Mall, London marked. A very clean blade with brass scabbard, the l;atter with little evidence of dents. See Illustration
