A TROOPERS 1898 PATTERN SWORD & SCABBARD.
An 1898 pattern Cavalry Troopers sword with EFD and other markings to the 33.1/2" blade. Steel bowl guard with three rivet grips, 99 on the blade spine showing issue marks to various units/dates. Complete with steel scabbard also issue marked, both blade and scabbard appear to be of good condition under the lacquer coatings.
