A 17thC MORTUARY SWORD. A 17thC Mortuary Sword with cast brass hilt and shell decoration, with the head of Charles 1? on the bulbous pommel. White grip with circular grooves, the guard itself of solid form. Short langets on the straight 33" blade with single edge, having a full length wide fuller and narrow three-quarter fuller. The scabbard of leather covered finish with brass mounts. See Illustration
