A 17thC CONTINENTAL SIDEARM. A 17thC sidearm or hunting hanger, with a 20.1/2" straight blade with three fullers. The middle one is a full length fuller with traces of latin letters, between them. The hilt of steel as is the shell and quillion guards, antler horn grips with a steel pommel. The scabbard of red leather and having steel mounts. 25.1/2" overall length. See Illustration
