AN ARCHIVE OF GREAT WAR PHOTOGRAPHS, EPHEMERA, BUTTONS ETC BELONGING TO A CAMERON HIGHLANDER.
Three photograph albums, the first beginning with a photograph titled 'On arrival in Le Harvre, July 1915' eight soldiers, probably Cameron Highlanders. other photographs show inspections prior to leaving for France, Ypres, arial photographs etc. The second album beinning with images of the battlefield 'Near Peronne', 'King of Belians and Maj Gen. Tudor inspecting march past of Divisional troops, near Cambrai'. The third album begins 'First parade in Germany 2-1-19' and 'Newfoundland Battn. Pte? receiving the V.C.' A quantity of loose photographs, company orders, hand-written reminiscences, studio photographs and other items.
