A GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL 1918-62.
A George VI General Service medal with Palestine clasp, named to 6979193, Fusilier J. Campbell, Royal Irish Fusiliers. Reported as missing whilst serving in the Aegean on 1/1/44 on casualty list 1331, later reported as a Prisoner of War at Stalag 4a Hohenstein, prisoner number 267899, however by 1st June 1945 he is reported to be no longer a POW but appears on the casualty list for that date, list number 1374.
