A SECOND WORLD WAR M.I.D. GROUP OF FOUR
Comprising 39-45 star, France and Germany star, Defence medal and War medal with mentioned in despatches oak leaf. Mounted as worn and unnamed as issued but apparently the medals of 7611300 C.D. Williams, WO1, RAOC. A quantity of documentation including a letter from the War Office accompanies this group which confirms the award of the Oak Leaf and gives a London Gazette date of 4th April 1946, p.1707 which records the mention in despatches, a certificate marking the award and other documents, and an R.A.O.C. badge.
