AN AMERICAN SOCIETY SWORD & SCABBARD.
Having a gilt knights helmet pommel, with white ivorine grip decorated with masonic devices. The blade etched with knights and inset sloping crosses, skull and crossbones, etc. The blade marked The McLilley & Co , Columbus Ohio being 27.3/4" in length. The gilt decorated scabbard and croosguard inset with enamel sloping crosses. The legend 'Be Though Faithful unto Death and I will Give Thee a Crown of Life. The Knights of Ohio C 1900, in very clean condition with some loss of the enamel in places.
