Portrait of Sir William Wake, Bart., watercolour 28 x 22 cms. Two grey wash drawings Courten Hall, Northamptonshire (seat of the Wake family) and Courten Church & Rectory. A small portrait of Ormathwaite Hall, Keswick (Col. Charles Wake) and a miniature portrait of Joan Wake called "The Fair Maid of Kent" by Mary Ellen Best*, on ivory; 6.5 x 5 cms
*Mary Ellen Best was a friend of the Wake family and had an interest in the theatre and fancy dress, as well as buildings & interiors c.f. the portrait illustrated in Davidson C. "The World of Mary Ellen Best" 1985 p.15
