of slightly baluster form with engraved borders and a faceted body made up of twelve vari-coloured vertical staves, gilt interior with a hinged grille, the cover inset with a panel of banded agate, the base engraved with a widow's coat of arms*, unmarked 1840-50; 1.9" (4.7 cms) high
