19THC CASED SURVEYING INSTRUMENT - WILLIAM WILTON, CORNWALL possibly used in Mining, a brass cased compass with silvered dial marked William Wilton St Day, Cornwall, with a bubble level and 2 removable sights. Also with a brass and metal quadrant which attaches to the compass, with a further bubble level and sight, marked on the dial Underlie in a fathom. All contained in a fitted box.
