a French Barrois type fashion doll circa 1860, with a bisque swivel head and dark cobalt glass eyes, and pierced in ears with original rings. With a straight limbed leather body with stitched fingers and toes, and dressed in a period type outfit made from old materials. No visible marks. 12ins (30cms) high
*This doll was purchased from the estate of David Walker (1934-2008), a well known theatrical designer with International reputation.
