A GORDONS TRIO & PLAQUE . A 1914/15 Star, British War & Victory medals named to 2575 Pte W Montgomery Gord Highrs, A Death Plaque in card case, named to William Montgomery. William Montgomery was listed as being Wounded on the 17/12/1916. Killed in Action 31/7/1917. He served in France from 5/12/1915, also under number 240666. He was in the A Company 5th Battalion, he had served underage being 19 when he was killed. The son of William and the late Jessie Montgomery, of 12 Devonside, Banff. Buried in the New Irish farm Cemetery, Belgium.
