A 1914/15 Star, British War & Victory medals named to 224912 J W Carty P O. RN. Gunner J W Carty on the latter two, faintly impressed on the Victory medal.
An interesting career including recall in WW11 as a Civilian Armament Instructor.
Photo copies of service on many ships and shore bases.
Including Absent Without Leave and Dismissed Ship Court Martial, in 1920 etc.
Despite requested retirement, John William Carty was commissioned Gunner in 1926.
