A 1914 Star, British War & Victory Medals named to 5787 Pte R T H Jones C Guards,
Richard Thomas Henry Jones served in France from the 12th August 1914. Awarded a clasp and rosettes, also a Silver War Badge and 'discharged.'
His date of discharge due to deformity of the left foot (frostbite), was dated the 14th September 1915.
Also with the trio is an unnamed Defence Medal.
His SWB was numbered 6992. Issued Buckingham Gate, London S W in October 1916. No longer fit for active war service.
