A CAMERON HIGHLANDERS NCO's CASUALTY TRIO. A 1914/15 Star, British War & Victory medals named to 6484 Sjt-Act W O Cl 2 T H Grant. Cam High. Thomas H Grant served in France from the 10th May 1915, being awarded a S W Badge (G/246) and discharged on the 9th November 1915. He was then a Company Sergeant Major, he died of war related illness in January 1919 (9th) Buried in Dalziel (Airbles) Cemetery on the outskirts of Motherwell, aged 32 years. Born in 1889 he served in the 5th Battalion Cameron Highlanders. The husband of Harriet Smith Grant, of 116 Windmill Street, Motherwell, Lanarkshire.
