A CAMERON HIGHLANDERS CASUALTY TRIO. A 1914/15 Star, British War & Victory medals named to S-15250 Pte J W McBride Cam High. James Walker McBride served in France from the 8th August 1915, posted missing presumed dead on the 12th October 1917. He was serving in the 5th Battalion of his regiment, born in Earlstown, Berwickshire. Residing at Hamilton in Berkshire, when his death on that day was accepted. Commemorated on Tyne Cot Memorial, panels 136-138. No NOK details were known.
