Harry Offord served in France from the 11th march 1915. He applied for and was refused a Silver War Badge in August 1920. A later letter re-applying was instigated by an MP, who requested his Service and Discharge Documents in October 1920.
At the age of 24 he suffered a Gunshot Wound in the right thigh No5, awarded a wound stripe.
