A Queens South Africa medal with bars Cape Colony-Orange Free State, named to 5387 Cpl W J Jones. Wilts R. A Kings South Africa medal with bars South Africa 1901 & 1902, named to 5387 Cpl W J Jones Wilts R. A 1914/15 Star, British War & VIctory medals named to 5387 Pte W J Jones Wilts Regt.
Cpl William J Jones served in the 2nd Battalion the Wiltshire Regt, returning to the UK in March 1901 with his clasps confirmed on the roll. His KSA and clasps are also confirmed on the roll.
In the Gt war William J Jones served in France from 4/4/1915.
