FAMILY MEDALS & EPHEMERA. A group of four medals unnamed as issued, awarded to Lt Col C J T Baker-Carr of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps. 1939/45 and Africa Stars, Defence & War Medal with MID Emblem. (Awarded LG 8/7/1943 Page 3091) 107092 A/Lt-Colonel C J T Baker-Carr, for services in East Africa and Madagascar. Mounted for wear. Defence & War Medals unnamed as issued to his wife, again mounted for wear with associated cloth and metal ATS badges, An original photograph of a relative Wing Commander Edward Keith Piercy DFC. His original RAF wings and ribbons, DFC, IGS, 1939/45-Air Crew Europe with Rosette, Africa Star with rosette, Italy Star, Burma and Defence Medal. The first photograph in uniform, the second as a civilian. (No written provenance available) Edmund Keith Piercy was a pilot in No 23 Fighter Squadron in 1935. Seniority date 3/4/1935. Temp W Commander in 1941. Awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross.
