AN IMPERIAL GERMAN SABRE.
A doves-head sabre with gilt finish to the guard and hilt, having plain langets. The gilt wire wrapped grip is lacking its leather finger strap, part of which remains in the hilt. Chromed 32" blade with makers mark, Squirrel and sword-Carl Eickhorn. Having a steel scabbard, with single wear loop.
