A GERMAN NAVAL OFFICERS SWORD.
An Imperial German period naval officers sword, complete with its scabbard. (in two pieces). The slim 25.5/8" blade is marked with the two squirrels trade mark of Carl Eickhorn. The hilt with lions head pommel, red and green eyes and double folding guard. Crown above anchor and gilt plated, hilt and fittings. Gilt mounts on the scabbard, usual break due to leather shrinkage.
