A NAPOLEONIC PERIOD OFFICERS SWORD.
A French blue and gilt officers sword, complete with brass scabbard. The hilt of a Lions Head pommel, with copper wire and fishskin grip. Stirrup form guard, with trophies and boat shaped langets in the guard. Curved 33" blade with half decoration of blue and gilt, with a Bastille in gilt on both sides. Very clean with short clipped-back point, in its brass scabbard.
