A Memorial plaque named to Tom Lucerne White, with a related photographs and memorial card. Written on the back of a grave photograph is; In loving memory of my Brother Pte Tom Lucerne White. No 9965 B Coy 5th Battalion Dorset Regt. Who died of wounds received in action at the Suvla Bay landing August 20th 1915- Sept 20th 1915. Buried in Pieta Military Cemetery Malta.

The card reads in loving memory of Tom Lucerne. The third son of Francis and Elizabeth White. Who died at Malta, September 20th, Aged 20 years. 'Thy will be done'. Written by hand on the back is;
No Mother or Father saw him die
No Sister or brother to say goodbye
No Friends or Relations to grasp his hand
But we hope to meet in a better land

A native of 5 Prince of Wales Road, Weymouth, Dorset who was wounded in the Gallipoli Landings, later dying of wounds at the Hospital in Malta.
