A GERMAN 1898 PATTERN BAYONET.
2nd type with two piece wooden grips, complete with its scabbard. The blade marked W K Co Solingen at the throat pipeback and spearpoint some 20.1/2" in length. The crossguard stamped 524 R 145, with 5 under a crown on the spine, complete with its steel scabbard.
