A 19thC MAHOUTS SPIKE WITH GOLD DECORATION.
In the shape of an Axe in Deer form, facing a Tiger all of steel construction. Lefthand thread allows the spike to be withdrawn from the hilt, tapering square form 13.3/4" long. Beaten form shaft with half moon axe blade, profusely decorated with gold Indian designs. 26" overall length.
