A COMMANDO DAGGER.
A W W 11 issue Commando's dagger, complete with its leather sheath. The flat crossguard is marked with a 'B' and broad arrow, the double-edged blade of some 6.3/8" in length. Both knurled hilt and blade are blackened, the scabbard is complete.
Believed to have been carried by Reg Williams of Bristol in WW11. The following two lots are also said to have been 'Liberated' by him.
