A CIVILIAN KATANA.
A Katana in civilian mounts, with the signature Kane Yoshi (made this) three character signatue to the tang. The Tsuba of iron with both slots filled, the Menuki of Tachi form. Black cord bindings with non-matching Fuchi and Kashira, The 27.1/2" blade is fitted with a copper habaki , with light staining. The Saya is of a dark wooden base, decorated with gilt patterns and worn off in places.
