A FRENCH NAVAL CUTLASS.
A 19thC French Naval Cutlass of all steel construction, including the grip. An anchor is on the heavy three-quarter fuller blade, of 26.3/4" length. The Arsenal mark appears to be 1856 on the blade spine, lacking a scabbard.
