The rectangular top with brass border and central tablet engraved 'C.A.M. Dec 2 1862', the velvet lined interior fitted with a removable tray and a selection of glass jars, above a concealed drawer with fittings for jewellery, the gilt brass lock plate marked 'VR Patent' 17.5cm high, 31 x 24cm.
