A George III Mahogany knife box with a sloping lid with satinwood crossbanding and stringing, the bow front with 'silver' shield shaped escutcheon, the base with a band of triangular banding, on 'silver' ball feet, the interior with shell inlay and original knife fittings, 40cm high and 22cm wide, The second similar, 37cm high 22.5cm wide.
