AN EARLY 16TH CENTURY STYLE COPPER BOWL.
A circular deep rimmed copper bowl with all over repousse decoration with a foliate centre surrounded by lion's heads holding bunches of grapes in their mouths, divided by pomegranates, the side with lobed decoration and with punched decoration to the rim, 37.5cm wide, 10cm high.
A similarly decorated bowl is included in the Irwin Untermeyer collection.
