A LATE 17TH OR EARLY 18TH CENTURY PAINTED CONTINENTAL TABLE BOX.
A decorative table box, the rectangular lid with stepped central panels painted with a heart surrounded by scrolling foliage, the panelled sides similarly decorated and with flat fronted column corners, on turned feet, the interior with a removable fitted tray revealing a similar tray and two concealed drawers, the interior painted with scrolling gilt decoration against a dark green ground, 13cm high, 38cm wide and 27cm deep.
