A rare framed & glazed indenture relating to the lease of premises in Bunhill Row & Blue Anchor Alley, dated "20th October 1791 for 60 years, Expires Midsomer 1851 Rent £56 nett", signed by both Peter & Ann Bateman & sealed; 38.5" (98 cms) wide overall
*Bateman, Ann, born Dowling 1748. Married Jonathan Bateman (q.v.) 1769 at St. Luke's, Old Street. On her husband's death in 1791 joined her brother-in-law Peter (q.v.) in partnership, their mark entered 2 May 1791.
