A commonplace book, with four pencil vignettes by William Henry Crome of trees by water and a coastal scene with boats, these signed and dated 1828; a leaf with three studies of cows' heads by or after John Crome [called `Joseph Crome` here]; further pages of verse and penmanship; small vignettes in watercolour (fruit, feathers, shells etc); ink and pencil sketches of a marine subject and ruins; an ink cartoon etc, all by various hands, half Morocco, 4to; with a leatherbound slipcase of typed loose leaf document of `Catalogue of the Principal Pictures painted by the late Mr. Crome, now Exhibiting in the Exhibition Room of The Norwich Society of Artists (1821)`(2)
