TWO CARVED LIME WOOD BOSSES, possibly medieval, the first carved as a fleur de lys, the second as an English rose, both with remains of colouring, both 23cm square (2) Provenance: by repute, from Exeter Cathedral and recovered after a German bomb destroyed part of the cathedral in the Second World War
