* Hubbard studied under Peter Brooker and Lucian Freud at The Slade. Freud wrote a reference for her in February 1951 in which he commented that he thought her `a most able and suitable person to fill the post of teacher of art`. Three drawings of a flower study, a lady's slippered feet and female nudes in this lot may include some instructive contribution from Freud, the nudes 20 x 12cm. [see illus]
