A GEORGE III SILVERGILT OVAL SNUFF BOX engraved on the cover with a coat of arms* and crest within foliate scroll mantling and above the motto ribbon "MUTARE VEL TIMERE SPERNO", by Roger Biggs, London 1796; 3" (7.5 cms) long; 1.95 oz *Arms of Bythesea of Week House, Wiltshire and Freshford, Somerset with a mark of cadence, probably for Thomas Bythsea, second son of Thomas Bythsea (1727-1783) of Week House and his wife Elizabeth (d.1809).
