oval with moulded borders and a pull-off cover, engraved with a coat of arms & crest*, within scrolling mantling, the base inscribed "William Jigney Ex Dono. William Wainright.1713", by Edward Cornock, London 1713; 3.8" (9.7 cms) long; 4.1 oz
*It is possible that these arms & crest though as yet unidentified, could be the "assumed" arms of William Jigney of East Anglia, a shipwright of Woodbridge, Suffolk.
