William Dickson Lang (1878 - 1966) was keeper of the Department of Geology at the British Museum from 1928 -1938. On retirement he moved to Charmouth, In 1940, with a colleague, he published the 'Index of palaeozoic coral genera', he also published a number of articles on Mary Anning.
