THREE BOER WAR 'PRISONER WORK' MODIFIED COINS.
An 1892 Shilling, the obverse with scratched modifications to include a hat, pipe and collar, in a silver brooch mount, a pierced coin fragment leaving the profile portrait and legend 'Zuid Afrik Republik' and a Dutch 2 1/2 Guilden coin pierced to reveal the coat of arms on the reverse, mounted as a brooch.
