AN UNUSUAL CASED COLLECTION OF BOER WAR PRISONER WORK.
A cased set of prisoner of war work comprising a pepper formed from a bullet, brooch formed from 1894 and 1896 6 pence coins, three graduated spoons with 2 shilling, 1 shilling and 6 pence coins, a similar pair of tongs with 1 shilling coins, a pair of cufflinks utilising 6 pence coins, cufflinks and a brooch formed from sections of shrapnel. All contained in a fitted blue velvet lined case. See illustration.
