A TWO BAR QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL. A Queen's South Africa Medal with South Africa 1901 and Transvaal clasps named to 4232 Private W. Dunn, Derby Regiment. Possibly renamed. A Walter Dunn of Nottingham born c 1878 is recorded as serving in the Great War with this number in the Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire) Regiment, he died of wounds on the 17th August 1915.
